Install PocketTV

• Pocket PC Phone and Pocket PC :

  To install: Make sure that your device is connected to your PC (Open ActiveSync to check that the connection is active). Just run the PocketTV Setup file on your PC and follow the simple steps on your screen.

  The PocketTV Setup file should be named something like PocketTVSetup[...].exe. If not, rename the file to PocketTVSetup.exe (this problem can happen with some versions of Internet Explorer).

  • Click here to obtain the FREE key that will unlock PocketTV Classic freeware (free keys are only for strictly personal use of PocketTV Classic).
  • Purchase PocketTV Enterprise Edition and Click here to obtain your activation key.

  To upgrade: Just install the new version. You don't need to remove the old version of PocketTV unless you upgrade from PocketTV Classic to Enterprise Edition. Before installing an upgrade, make sure that PocketTV is NOT running (use Tools>Exit from PocketTV or press the reset button to do a soft-reset). Upgrades are always free. More on upgrades...

  To un-install: Make sure that PocketTV is NOT running (use Tools>Exit from PocketTV), then select Setting, System, Remove Program (on your device).

  You can easiely re-install PocketTV: In ActiveSync, select Tools then Add/Remove Programs. You don't need to keep the Setup file: the Add/Remove Programs software remembers all the applications that you have previously installed on your device!

• Smartphone :

  To install: Make sure that your Smartphone is connected to your PC (Open ActiveSync to check that the connection is active). Just run the PocketTV Setup file on your PC and follow the simple steps on your screen.

  Once you have installed PocketTV on your Smartphone, you must start it with Home > Start/Programs > PocketTV to complete the installation process.

  • Click here to obtain the FREE key that will unlock PocketTV Classic freeware (free keys are only for strictly personal use of PocketTV Classic).
  • Purchase PocketTV Enterprise Edition and Click here to obtain your activation key.

  To upgrade: Just install a new version. You don't need to remove the old version of PocketTV unless you upgrade from PocketTV Classic to Enterprise Edition. If you have problem installing a new version (e.g. error message that the current version of PocketTV cannot be removed), just turn the Smartphone OFF, then ON, and install the upgrade again, it should solve the problem.   To un-install: Use Home > Start/Programs > Setting > Remove Programs. Select PocketTV and choose "Remove" in the menu.

  You can easiely re-install PocketTV: In ActiveSync, select Tools then Add/Remove Programs. The Add/Remove Programs software remembers all the applications that you have previously installed on your Smartphone.

• Early Handheld PC and early Palm-size PC :

  If you have an early Handheld PC or Palm-size PC running WinCE 2.0, click here for installation instructions.

  To determine the WinCE Version: Depending on the version of Windows CE, select Start, Settings, System, or Start, System. Then select General, Device or About.
